ABOUT US

Welcome to the
Washington-Lewis Chapter,
National Society Daughters of the American Revolution!

The Washington-Lewis Chapter, NSDAR, is over 100 years old!

The chapter was chartered in 1922 to save Kenmore, the home of George Washington's sister, Betty Washington Lewis. Our chapter name honors both the Washington and Lewis families, and their deep connection to Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Our chapter has over 200 members between the ages of 18 and 95. Our newest members work alongside members who have served our chapter, and their community, for over 60 years.

Since the founding of NSDAR in 1890,

more than 1,000,000 women have joined our organization.

Join us and become

"One in a Million!"
